10 Tips To Avoid Been Scammed.

"Retire rich within months trading in the foreign exchange market!".
This is what you will commonly see in advertisements or hear in seminar previews these days.

But before you hand over your hard-earned money to these so-called "gurus", here are the 10 tips to avoid been scammed:

1. Don't assume the announcement, advertisement or presentation is legitimate just because it appears on a reputable Newspapers, Web site or a Marketing Seminar.
   The Newspapers, Web sites and Seminars generally do not endorse nor review them before they appear in them. Do look for the fine print that says "sponsored link" or "advertisement." Just because you trust the Newspaper, Web site or Seminar Organizers, doesn't mean you can trust the content that appear on them.
2. Don't trust the use of logos from trusted organizations. Get rich quick advertisements often feature logos from trusted organizations. Don't assume the endorsement is legitimate just because those logos appear. It's possible that the logos are being used without permission.
3. Don't believe in "No skill required to become successful."
   Is there really any job that doesn't require some kind of skill? Of course not, so steer clear of advertisements that brag about not needing any kind of skill to become successful
4. Don't be tricked by huge hourly, weekly or monthly income.
   Advertisements that boast an outrageous income like "You can retire rich in months" are usually bogus. They are designed to attract desperate people who've only dreamed of easy money. Why would these perpetrators need your money when they are already super rich themselves?
5. Don't buy into "Get-Rich-Quick Opportunity"
   There's no such thing as "fast, easy money". Every genuine opportunity requires hard work for reasonable compensation. If it is too good to be true, chances are, it is.
6. Don't get tricked by "Time critical or Check for availability Offers."
   Many advertisements tell you to provide your contact details to check to see if a slot is available are designed to make you think it's a very limited opportunity. Yet you'll find that no matter what you do, a slot is always available for you.
7. Don't ignore the fine print on what you'll be charged.
   Lots of advertisements are designed to convince you it's very affordable to get started. That's how they hook you to part with your money. They get you to overlook the small print that says you're also agreeing to other fees and the tough conditions for refunds.
8. Don't get dreamy at the sight of palm trees, beaches, oceans and fast cars.
   Many advertisements feature images of a luxurious lifestyle. You will do well with a reality check on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
9. Don't be fooled by persistent marketers who encourage you to "act now."
   No legitimate offer will put a timetable of mere minutes on your deadline to make a decision. It's designed to get you to think This is a can't-miss offer".
10. Don't ignore your intuition.
    If you know something isn't quite right or sense something fishy, it probably is. Don't suspend your good judgment. If you see a red flag or smell a rat, drop it and move on.

If you are new to Forex trading, you need to be aware of marketing hypes and unrealistic promises from some self-proclaimed gurus who would have you believed that you can retire rich within months by attending their 2-3 days of training.

Be extra careful of those who tout that their system or training is the only one that works.
Ask them to substantiate their claims before you waste your money and time with them.

I should know better, because I have spent thousands of dollars personally on trading courses which I didn't find value for the money!
